I think one problem is we don' t just read or hear news without an opinion afterwards. So most of us mimic this same attitude without realizing nobody gives a crap because we read or heard it on TV, radio, newspaper already.

Sure does. When I was younger, my wife would say, "If you want to argue you can argue with yourself", and then she walked out of the room. This my friend would get me even more PO. Would I be correct in assuming between the two of you you are the more emotional one? How do you decide who is more emotional? Easy. It's the person who says something that shouldn't be said and probably can't be undone.
