Toyota safety - rear crash protection

In another thread, somebody posted this URL comparing auto safety:

Looks like many Toyota vehicles would have topped the list, but for rear crash protection. One Lexus model was rated acceptable, two Lexus and four Toyota models marginal, and two poor.

Is this probably because the headrests are positioned too far back?

It's a shame the Prius is only marginal for rear crash protection, given how slowly most Prius drivers drive!

Yeah...They have a car that gets 60MPG at highway speed, and drive like there's an egg between the pedal and their foot, and another one under the pedal.

The fact is, the Prius is a rather well-performing car. Too bad many owners will never find that out...
