anybody got stats for this model, eg factory tyre size, weights, widths dimentions. towing capacities..

what are the common problems with these cars, rust areas? tranny or engine problems?

whats teh engine life of these 2.2l 4 cyldiner motors and transmissions, they need a head redon around 200 maybe? i believe timin belts arnt an issue and need doing at 100k intervals

They'll tow a 500kg gross (trailer and load combined) trailer without brakes or 900kg gross with brakes.

Std Camry II rims are 5.5/14 in. tyres 185/75-14. The Ultima came with 15 in mags which were 6/15 and took 205/65-15

If yours is a series one (the II came out in circa '95) they are quoted as having 195/70-14 tyres. That profile is in less supply these days and is why they went to 185/75

The single most important thing to look at is poor servicing. The engines do not like inadequate oil-changes and will create sludge if the service intervals have been long. Having said that, they will easily do 180,000 ks (112.000 miles) with an extra 100,000ks up their sleeve if they have had adequate oil and coolant manintenance. The automatics are extremely strong and will do the same distance id they have had the same servicing, especially a country car. Unfortunately city cars are trucked to the bush for sale.

A '94 in OZ wouldn't have any rust. Check for any oil-leaks especially red,..the power-steering rack can need attention.
