Has anyone heard of windshields cracking without warning on any 2006 Camry's? Vehicle was parked in a driveway, nothing hit it or fell on it. The driver just went out to go run errands and noticed a crack from the dashboard vertically for about 8 inches almost directly in front of the drivers position.

Yes. My fiance's 2005 Solara cracked this past winter. She was driving down the road and "pop". Nothing touched the car. No rock, no pebble, no nothing. An upside down "U" shape, maybe 8 inches wide, right at the passenger side wiper area.
Dealer won't budge on it. Says it "had" to be hit with something. I hope you have better luck.

Do auto insurance policies have glass coverage without paying a deductible? I think some do, but am not sure.

Sure wish I could gather more reports about this, I think there's a problem here that Toyota should be aware of. I've never had a vehicle where the windshield just cracked without being hit by something. Even it is hit it takes a heck of a shot to crack a windshield and it always leaves an impact mark.
