Is treatment with Red Line generally better than buying a tankful of Chevron with Techron?
Chevron's pretty cheap in our area (about $3.06/gal last time I checked, comparing with $2.95/gal for the Arco I usually buy)... was wondering if it was better to get some Chevron, or to just toss a bottle of Red Line into the fuel tank.

Arco is good gas and I believe has detergents, but the alcohol mixed in is a strong solvent-cleaner anyway. I never see an improvement with cleaners, but they don`t hurt.

you can buy the Chevron Techron additive at Walmart - it does a great job.
BG Products makes some excellent cleaners.
