I have a new Camry Hybrid and I love it. I have less than 500 miles on it and I'm wondering if the battery icon should be filled to the very top. Mine came a bit below the top and it goes between that setting and even with the minus sign. Have you any knowledge of this situation? I'll be stopping at the Toyota store next week but I'd like to know real peoples experience before I do.

It rarely hits the top. Using regenerative braking on a long downhill will make it hit the peak. Normal driving doesn't.
The battery controller only allows the battery to cycle between 50% and 90% charge in order to extend the life. Overcharging or serious depletion shortens the life.
