Hi, I had to replace a right hand mirror on my Camry 99 and having a problem connecting wire harness. My old connector is 4 wires and new one is 3. Probably it is caused by different manufactures, my car is built in Japan, and the mirror is for US production. Does anybody have any info in the connectors used. Thanks for any help.

Did you maybe get a mirror that is not heated when that option exists on your car?

There is no heating option in my car, but it seems the mirrors are still built for it.
I've never seen that before. They typically have at least four. Two are for vertical adjustments while the others are for horizontal adjustments. If the mirror was heated, there would be two additional wires. Pairs of wires are typically needed because they reverse polarities to reverse directions. My suggestion is to run wires from your battery and see which way the mirror moves. Obviously, try two at a time and keep changing where you're connected to and even reverse them too.
