1985 pickup smog

I have a 1985 22re 4x4 toyo pickup and i am trying to pass smog the firsts test i was way off on timing but i replaced the throttle position sensor (notorious on toyotas) and it was better but now i am a lot closer but still cant pass i am going to replace the plugs and airfilter. and probly check the EGR but is there anything else i should do? Any suggestions? and also anyone else have this problem? any help would be much appreciated thank you very much.

sorry the numbers are

NO (PPM) at 15 the max is 1136 and i have 1250 at 25 the max is 1222 and i have 1691

If the only portion of the test you are failing is NO, ckeck your EGR system. It appears that the EGR is not working or the passages are plugged with carbon.

well you need to check your emisssion computer at the nox sensor should read correctly.get your carb redone turn it down low air fuel mixture.another part is the ..eacv..cant remember the name but it has a yellow and green wire connector from the computer to this thing on the intake side make sure everthing is good and connected

Always have a clean air filter.

Try this, its the only way to get mine to pass california smog due to wear and tear. Put alot of heat into the engine. After a trip down the highway is a good time. Let it idle when your waiting too.
