1996 Tacoma 4X4

I have a 1997 Tacoma 4X4 V-6 Electronic Ignition.I has a momentary sip, misfire,or loss of power. This can happen 4 or 5 times in 50 mi and not happen again fo 100 mi.I have changed the spark plug wires, fuel filter, air flow meter. It has bosch platimun plus 4 sparkplugs only about 2 years old.The dealer has been no help. The check engine light has not come on.I have used fuel injection cleaner and high test gas.Any ideas on this one would be grately appreciated. Yours truly R.L.Fields

In my experience: replace the Bosch Crapinums with NGK or ND Resistor, V-Groove, or Platinums. Boschs just don't seem to work well with the stock Toyota ignition.

good luck! GTr

scope the ignition?

DEALER NO HELP? You need a local mechanic. Not a friend or a neighbor. And not for free. You have a timing belt that needs routine replacement, coolant change, brake line bleeding and so forth.
