Hi all.
Anyone have any input on spark plug replacement for a 2000 3.4 v6 non super charged?
Are platinum better than copper? and are iridium any better than platinum?
What exactly does it mean when a product is double platinum?
TIA

$2 copper Denso or NGK plugs work fine for 30,000 miles.
I haven't heard of anyone who's had better performance from high priced plugs compared to *new* copper plugs.

Two bones a piece works for me!
i disagree with most on this. i use autolites, and change them once per year. this keeps the burn kernel optimal year-after-year. spending $3 or more per plug and then changing them after 30k miles just don't cut it as the plug will erode enough (well under 30k miles) that it will change your burn kernel, much more than a autolite will change in one year.
at about $1 per plug for autolites, i find it much better for the engine to change them every year.
