I've got a leak coming from the service pan on my 86 P/U. I've got the filter and gasket, but I need to know how much ATF to buy to refill it. Also what type of fluid is recommended.

fill it to stick marks. drain and measure, put back the same...

Get 3 quarts and use the rest in the front forks of your vintage Italian motorcycle.
