My '93

I recently purchased a '93 v6 5/sp manual, and it's been through 3 accidents and, the heavy damage was only to the superficial parts. It's also been through every one of it's winters so far in Redding CA. Pretty far north, snows every year. It's a really reliable truck, but the handling's not so hot for such a small truck.

Try Bilstein shock/strut replacement (std on the TRD model) and go to an all season vice Mud/Snow tires. Add 4 bags of sand or gravel over the rear axel. 3 accidents says you need a Porsche Boxer for handling - a PU will not handle like a sportscar --- or maybe an Abrhams M1A1.
