I think this is a 93, isn't it?

Actually looks like a 1st gen toy truck to me (79 to 84??)

As for price 5k seems high. if its rust free an only 200k kms I think 2500 to 3000 is more like it. As for the guy who thinks 500 is reasonable dosen't know the value of a rust free toy truck. With rust 500 is about right.

cheers Kenny

Just a guess but this truck appeares to be forsale in Gatineau quebec (accross the river from Ottawa)

that.........

I think it was in the truck trader a couple of weeks ago for $3000 - with a Carleton Place phone number. At least that picture was the same!

Dave ps. I'll bet the Toyota MSRP in '83 was less than $3000

It is an 83. 81's and 83's were the only ones to have door vent windows. The sticker price for my first new vehicle (81 Toy. - best truck I've owned ) was 10,500 with little willingness to haggle, from the dealer.

Anyone who doesn't know that it isn't a '93 obviously knows very little about these trucks-sorry but c'mon guys. I was being a bit facetious with the $500 thing to get a point across. IF it's in decent shape it's definitely worth a couple of grand.........

I have an '84 with door vent windows.

I stand corrected...(I still don't think 80's and 82's have the vent.) but you have to admit that this generation of Toyota 4x4's were pretty impressive. My 1981 pulled out many a GM/Ford and Dodge from the mud.
