I'm driving an 03 Limited 2WD with 4000 miles, and I'm lovin it. Man, I wish for 16-19. I think I could get MPG up but then it wouldn't be near enough fun! Try keeping the tach under 2000 - booring! I'm in Calif - maybe the Ca emissions are killing my MPG. the best I got was just over

16 on 250 mile roundtrip on the freeways at about 70-75. Day to day on the surface streets I'n getting 13 avg for the last 3 mo.

You aren't driving with your left foot on the brakes by any chance, are you? That's a _killer_ on both gas mileage and brake life.

I just got 18 mpg on the way back from Fresno in my 2003 4x4 V8. Automatic transmission, too - and I was running the A/C for awhile.

You might find that running Mobil 1 5W-30 will help your mileage a little. I guarantee that it'll help your engine live longer. It's cheap insurance. I change it (and the filter) every 5K miles.

Abso-f'ing-lutely.

The photo of a 200k Camry with the valve cover removed was the deal maker for me. Looked like a brand new engine. Honey!
