Re: Considering Toyota Tacoma

Paul and the rest I am picking up my hopefully last TOy truck. I have owned four of them now. Starting in 1991 straight front axel lifted easy

1994 ran great the V6 was fantastic the auto and 4X4 is the only way to go. plus the extra cab not the crew cab it makes them flex to much going down the freeway, 1997 I get tired of having to change the timing belt every 60K miles still like it got a white one this time lifted it only 3 inch and had 33 tall tires also put Warn winch on. Get the 8000++ pound winch why you ask cause those guys in there fords and chevys are to dang heavy for me to pull out with out the bigger winch.

2004 Well this will be my last Tacoma I have decided after I got this one that I am going for a Tundra next.

OK it is 2009 not sure if I want the 09 or shall I wait till july and get a 2010 I am old enough it maybe my last one. I retired and need to pull a trailer too. I pulled a big boat with the others but I want to pull a 32ft trailer this time. so it is the big V8 and 4X4 auto 6speed with white paint bucket seat all the goodies I am going to stay away from the crew cab as it still has to much flex. Hey I weld for money and have had to weld up 8 or 9 of them for buddies in the 4X club I can also put 20X 37 tires on it with a 6inch lift and charger on gas and nos. I dont go slow up a hill. got a ticket for 90 pulling the I5 grade at Yreka summit out side of town. I was towing my boat too.
