Help! The spare under the bed of my 93 toyota pickup is rusted stuck and I cant lower it. I've tried spraying the nut with PB Blaster several times but nothing's loose yet (been days). Anyone have any suggestions as to how I might get this spare tire outta there? Thanks! Brian

Take it to "America's Tire". They will fix it,I'm guessing for free. They want you business the next time you need tires.Good Luck.
Are you spraying the actual lowering device? I had to deflate the tire so I could push it up enough to work the connector loose. Be careful if you go this way so you don't drop the tire on yourself. Then you can get to the winch itself. Good luck. Ed
which nut? you access the lowering device thru the slot above the bumper ... use the handle and "rod" for the jack .
I had to cut the chain on mine, then cut the heads off of the bolts holding the winch to the frame, then drilled out the bolts themselves....Then replaced the entire winch assembly, and kept it well maintained after that. Tom
