My Tacoma'01, 4 cyl, 2.4L, 5 speed, has developed a knocking/tapping when engine idles; ONLY at idle. It doesn't affect the driving and acceleration. It dissapears at higher RPM - 1000+. The engine has 20K mls. Some people say, it is normal for 4 banger Tacomas.
Any idea what's this?
