Redoing 1975 super beetle steering column...thought bearing was bad, turned out to be the plastic bushing (steering column ring). Bushing was destroyed. Putting back together (after vacation and waiting for parts) and don't remember how the plastic spacer sleeve goes back on. Sleeve is 1 1/4" long and ID is smaller at one while the other end is notched.
