ive got a 61 baja with a 1500 (H0087682) and i was told that it would run with an alternator. i installed that alternator and i havent been able to get it to turn over at all. not even a click from the starter solenoid. i also noticed that the battery is good, but none of the electrical works, like head lights, blinkers. i also was wondering if a 12 battery will work with the alternator an the 6 volt system. any suguestions will be helpfull.
