I'd like to identify the Wonderbus's engine. Muir sez that the number will be stamped on the rear of the crankcase under the generator support. What -- hidden behind the crank pulley? I can't see anything resembling letters or numbers on the crankcase.
It's a new 1776 w/doghouse. Where O where does a fellow look to get the numbers? Partial, probably fairly useless picture at
the numbers should be stamped on he case, right where the alternator stand bolts to the engine.

Picture one says its an upright engine with dual carbs and alternator. Picture two says no flaps an prossible misinstalled fan housing. Picutre three says no flaps again. Picture six says youre engine is build on a new case, probably brazilian, so it has no stud to put the thermostat on. You can dril and tap it no problem. Pics six and seven also show you are missing the round deflectors that go from the front of the engine to the small piece of tin in picture six that not in pic seven.
Pic six should look like this:

Pics nine and ten show where the round tin parts you are missing would bolt to the upper cyl covers.
