It's quite sad that VW doesn't have the reputation for quality that it once had...my 1990 Jetta GLI has been a great car...and most people I know that drive 85-92 Golf and Jetta vehicles have nothing but good things to say about them. It seems as though 1993 brought the demise of VW Quality to the market. A shame, really...I mean, the cars that VW is building right now are quite good looking, and I think would sell much better, if only VW built them better...
