Buying New S60

Jun 20, 2004 12 Replies

Hi folks,

First time poster to this group.

My wife is close to closing a deal on a new S-60. I'm curious about the holdback amount with Volvos. I think it's 3% with GM cars. The difference between the retail and invoice price on a Volvo seem suspiciously low. I'd like to know how much leeway we have.

Any help with this calculation will be appreciated.

I got $6800 off two months ago.

2004 2.5T FWD Premium Package, black color, only six miles on it.

Good Luck David

Was that including the $3500 cash option? (Which we are able to get now)

Well last time I looked, Volvo was not part of GM.

Does this answer your question?

Networkguy,

If you read the original message closely and carefully, I think you'll realize he never said Volvo is part of GM.

Thank you.....

Smart asses should read posts carefully so as not to make a plain "ass" of themselves.

Nice discounts. Wish I still lived in Texas!

Actually read the reply again and you might understand what I am trying to say.

Just because GM decide to have a 3% holdback, does not mean that everybody else has to.

Ok, I can see it your way too. Let's just call it a big misunderstanding. :)

Hug?

You're forgiven.
