Hello,
I?m in the process of fixing up a 1987 volvo 245 wagon with the B230 engine. On of the issues it has is with the power steering. When the car is running, everything seems normal, but the moment the engine is shut off, the power steering fluid shoots out of the pinhole in the cap on the power steering resovior. The fluid level is fine (until it all squirts out!). Is there a pressure release something or other that this car has for the power steering once the engine/serpentine belt stops turning? Anyone have any ideas for what might be the problem? Thank you much, Glenn
