Has anyone installed this kit in lieu of replacing a failing upper torque mount with an identical will-fail-eventually OEM torque mount?I have a $100 deductible on my extended warranty (purchased by the previous owner). Price at the local Volvo shop to have an OEM replacement part installed is $130.
I'm thinking that for $115 plus shipping plus half an hour of my time (I'm handy but probably not handy enough to effect a 15-minute install as promised by the vendor) I will probably save myself some scratch in the long term, as this conversion kit claims to permanently solve the upper torque mount wear problem.
