Trying to sell a car

Jan 06, 2004 5 Replies

Hello all. I have a potential customer with a problem. They have a

1983 Volvo 242 Limited Ed with flat hood. This car has a turbo, cloth interior, sunroof, and as of last week 132295 miles. I was told that this is a collectible car. Unfortunately I work in a car dealership that does not deal in collectible cars so we cannot offer my customer what the car is really worth. Is anybody interested in this car? or do any of you know where I can go to find the right future owner for this?

My name is Troy Deming and can be reached at snipped-for-privacy@hypermall.net if you have any questions or suggestions. Or if you want to call me please call 303-460-0102

Please take the volvo out of my address if you want the email to go through.

Thank you all

Yes it is a collectible, what's the location though?

Sorry This vehicle is located in the Denver area.

Those cars are junk and you should let me take it off your hands for you...

Everything you always wanted to know about the 1983 Group A Homologated 242 Turbo:

There is really nothing "special" about the cars as far as 240s go, although, IIRC, it was the first factory 240 turbo with an intercooler, it just looked very cool with the flathood and that bitchen grill.

Youmay find a buyer there...I might be interested myself... Don

If you mean posting at Turbobricks or the Brickboard to sell your car, both sites have areas for classified ads. You could also place an ad in IPD's classifieds
