While attempting to chech the oil level, the orange plastic funnel broke off where it meets the metel tube. How hard is it to replace?

Pull off old one, make sure all the bits are removed, push on new one.
Warm up the new one first, either inside the house, with a space heater or in some hot water. It will expand some and become easier to install. ;-)
