Could someone explain what "telematics" refers to? Is it a "Homelink" device?
Also: is 2004 the last year for A4's? They seem to be fading in sales competitiveness, ala the "old" VW pattern (w/A1's and A2's, especially).

Telematics is OnStar...GPS without the screen....go to GM and have a look...VW is licensing the technology. As for changes, well, the 2004 A4s seem to be quite a bit nicer than the 2003s. The TDI goes to 100 hp, the TDI gets a 5-Speed Tiptronic, sunroof and European instrument cluster become standard, as do a rear spoiler and sunroof.
