My 90 passat w/A9 motor stalls after +/- 20 minutes. Could it be overheating? Temp gauge = 190 to 220 degrees, occasionally fluctuates. the fan starts ok, maybe too late? If so, why would overheating stop the fuel injection? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, -Karl D.-
Does it have an automatic transmission? Did you access the Engine Control Module with a scanner (like the vag-com by ross-tech.com) and check for any codes (DTC)? Have you tuned it up lately? When did this start happening?
Maybe you could try some real good fuel injection cleaner. Hey it is a cheap suggestion! lol
