I have a 2000.5 passat with the monsoon head unit and the cd in the trunk. I hate it. not the sound, but the fact that I cannot insert a CD (better, an MP3 CD) into the head unit itself. I have tried third party devices, with cables hanging everywhere (power, casette), and hate this, too.
Are there any 3rd party or other units that have built-in cd player rather than a casette player, and which can play mp3 CDs?
