I have been reading a lot lately looking for solutions to the ipod in the car question. One thing that I am unclear of is this: Does the single DIN monsoon head unit have an AUX in (RCA) or just the input from the CD changer in the trunk? I am pretty sure its the latter, just want clarification.

TIA There are no AUX imputs in the single DIN monsoon head unit. You have
2 options. You can buy an adapter for connecting to either the HU or to the changer wiring in the trunk. If you want to look for yourself, take the metal strip from a hanging file folder and cut it in half. Use the end without the 'hook' on it and slide it into the 2 slits on the face of the player. Slide them in a few inches being carefull not to force them too much. Then grab the casette opening and pull out the player. To see the back you will need to remove the tray above the HU because it will not pull out too far.Good luck BJF

I found some info on the web. Seems there used to be an adapter available that would use the cd changer input on the back and make it into an rca input by fooling the unit into thinking the changer was there.
