I want to thank all those who offered advice on my brake light situation. You pretty much covered every possible scenario but one. Making sure the idiot who you were giving advice to was capable enough to know which socket he was working with!!! Although both bulbs were burnt out, I was trying to put the new bulbs in the directional sockets. When I finally realized that I was dealing with a duel element bulb, I got it right.
