Should the dual mass flywheel in a 2002 1.8t/5spd VW have ~10 degrees of rotational freeplay (no resistance at all)? I could easily move the flywheel back and forth about 10 degrees with no force at all...
I understand that there is a damping mechanism in the flywheel - is it springs, fluid or something else?
