On a New Jetta 99.5 TDI I have frequent 'Intermittent open or short G62 Engine Temperature Sensor' error message. Is this the wiring harness or the sensor itself. I cleared the code with VAGCOM and it Takes somes weeks to reappear.

Any idea?
I would replace the $20 sensor before considering a $1000 harness.
