I finally cant justify repairing my white 1987 American Golf. Rack and pinion problems and a slipping auto transmission. Theres some body rust, the engine has 290,000k on it, 2 brand new tires, brand new water pump, brakes OK.It has a sunroof. Its in Toronto. Any offers? You have to take it all.

Just a shot, try sellling it to a racer, those chassis were very light, makes an outstanding vintage racer....most of the stock stuff would be thrown out anyway.......worth a try.

If by "it" you mean the sporge (there was no context above your comments so it's impossible to know) then there's one thing you can do: ignore it.
The only time most people round here (in nanae) see it at all is when someone follows up to one saying "it wasn't me!".
