Hi I just bought a VW 1997 polo 1.4CL, but just noticed a slight knock in the steering a bit on right-hand turns. Anyone else have this problem or know what it could be??

A knocking sound when under load, like when you pull out of a parking lot and into traffic? If so, take a look at your CV joints... if the CV boots that protect them are torn open and the CV joint has gone dry, time for a new axle asm. Nothing to major to repair.
