I have a rather worrying fault on my UK 1997 Polo Saloon 1.6 L, it looks like a weld has not been done on the hand brake on one side and it has come a drift.Has anyone had the same problem ? It's the welds at the front of the hand brake plate, one has failed and pulled through the floor and IF there should have been another one, there is no evidence of it ever being done.
Also the VW UK website has no customer care email address, so i can't sent a couple of photo's in to them. :(
