Hi there, im having a couple of annoying issues with my car and I need a few opinions/advice before I begin the lengthy (and tedious) dealer repair service.
number 1: Fuel... or the lack of getting it in the car! A few months ago I had a couple of occasions when trying to fill my car up the pump kept clicking off, so I figured it was me, the pump, or maybe I was pumping too quick (ooo errr!). It didn't happen often enough to worry about. Then it got worse and worse till today when it took me about 5 mins just to put £10 in the car! Its not my stupidity, its not the pumps (everyone does the same), so it must be the car. It does not matter which way I put it in or at which angle, the only way fuel is going in that car is if I press the handle so very gently so it delivers about a penny a second sometimes (yes, that bad!) well now I've had enough. I know now why it gives good MPG, so you don't have to go to petrol stations!
second problem/issue: I have noticed a strange noise coming from the steering wheel (or so I think) the last few days. I think its when its turning but its hard to hear since it can be very quiet. The only way I can describe it is that it sound like tin foil being squeezed into a ball in the palm of your hand, a rustling type noise. Tends to be easiest to hear at night with low revs with no music on, and it sound like its coming from the steering wheel as I said, but its so faint sometimes its very hard to tell!
Any opinions/help??
Thanks
