abs light on 1994 ford explorer

obviously from the subject , I have a ford explorer with an Abs light issue. It is the weirdest thing....in September of last year I got new front brakes, from Midas or some place like that. then my back brakes went out a month or two ago. well before my back brakes went my Abs light started coming on . I figured it my be because of my back brakes. then my neighbor and I did the back set.. the light still comes on. intermittently. and I noticed that if I slam on the brakes real hard while that light is on...my back brakes will lock up a little.. so the question is ...Is there a reset or something that this light comes on or do I have some other problem. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would be thinking rear abs sensor. I have not worked on a first gen, but people usually remove it and clean it, make sure the connections are in decent shape, and some people change the diff fluid, which is a good thing to do if it hasn't been done in many moons.

Not that expensive to replace.

No reset button. If the warning indicator is on, the system thinks it has a problem, otherwise its off.
