anyone ever change a signal indicator switch...
the button for the w/wash was wearing out for the last 3 years ... and finally quit working
anyone ever take one of these off and switch it? the arm itself looks sealed and not sure how it would even come apart to check the switch/contacts themselves... i can get one from a 98 ford f150 or a 02 ranger if they would fit...
just wondering if these things are easily removed ... or if anyone has ever taken one apart to clean contacts
Many of those are the same. You may be able to crosscheck part numbers on the Advance, Autozone or Rockauto sites. Changins is fairly easy if you have a #2 phillips and and assortment of torx drivers. It simply plugs into the harness once you dismount the old one. You can't screw up the wiring unless you make an effort to do so.
