350 gmc...

....with a 400 tranny. Delays when cold "in all gears". It's fine after it's warm. Pump maybe?

Those 400's are good, tough trannies. How long since filter and fluid been changed--the filter does a good of straining the fluid, and stops up easily. May be the weakest AND strongest part in that tranny! HTH, & good luck. s
