Good....now how about bringing the Polo over to the US. With fuel prices climbing, we aren't all looking for a 3000 lb. entry-level car with 5 cylinders as a commuter. If VW doesn't change its view of the US market, they will miss out on a gang of people who grew up with diesel Rabbits, and other entry-level European quality. I'm OK with a new Honda and my '88 16v Scirocco, thanks anyways. Get real VW, people looking for economy aren't looking at Touregs and loaded 4- motion Passats. Those people have already bought -------- >>VW needs a polo size car. The Polo cant be modified cheaply to be US certified. I'd do it anyways to get it here. And do the big marketing that VW does so well. Things are coming around with gas up. But small cars aren't getting here. VWs in no position to get us a small car. I was at the Dealer last month. And they had a truck driver drop in to drive a GTI to San Diego from Ohio. The dealer says VW wants them to sell what they got. And there wasn't any cars being shipped .
None4You your contributions to this group are invaluable, but your words are often very confusing to distinguish from the prior poster's quoted text. You're somehow integrating your replies within the previous author's quotes on most of your follow up messages.
:-) What application are you using to work with newsgroups? Maybe someone can hold your hand.
I think you missed the point that he does it on purpose.
your hand.
I re-read, and I retract the above comment.
hold your hand.
Have you considered downloading and installing a 'real' newsreader instead of Outlook Express? That might assist in making your follow-up posts easier to tell apart from the original poster. The fault here is in the way Outlook Express works.
fundamentalism, fundamentally wrong.
(reply edit)
Outlook shouldn't be adding in a quote mark with your lines by default. You must have goobered something somewhere along the line. Check your settings and adjust as necessary. Then pick one of the many test groups and have at a few test replies for a while to make sure things are in order. As also suggested, there are also far superior news readers in comparison to Outlook available as well.
