1990 chev C-1500 Hic-up

Have never had this new problem, when under slight power the motor dies for about 1/2 sec, and then picks up again. Everything thing else is
fine, when I use full throttle there so far has been no hesitation, idle is perfect It does not seem to make a difference if the motor is cold or hot. I have changed the fuel filter twice, and next I will check the fuel pressure. Two thingsthat have happen before this problem. One the welding on the exhaust with out disconnecting the battery not by me, the other was the way I started it the other day, it kicked back out of the TBI. Other then that I have no idea if it is fuel or spark until it quits completely. Any suggestions? Also not problems with Check Engine Light.
