Has anyone had this problem hard time to start but when it starts runs with a rough idle , exhaust smells like sulfur. brought it to the garage says it is my fuel injection ,cost about $900.00 to fix , fuel injection replacement, is this price about right for this kind of job? When you mention sulfer smell my first inclination is that you have a plugged catylitic convertor.
No, garage is probably right. bad cat would smell also but your problem sounds like my 94 when the cpi went. exact symtoms. If your at a red light does the rough idle become more noticable but when driving seems ok?
900 sounds about right. i did mine myself. not to hard a job if you have the time and patience. i paid 200 for the cpi and 55 for a new nut kit/fuel line and gasketmike
