'91 Blazer Silverado, advice for buyer?

Hey gang, I'm looking to buy a certain '91 full-sized Blazer; I'd appreciate hearing about any trouble-spots that I'd want to check out, and maybe some fix-it ideas.

The Good: Silverado, 350 fuel injected, not a diesel, manual locking hubs, ABS, PW, PL, A/C, cruise, electric mirrors, new 350 automatic trans, new brakes/rotors, new oversized exhaust system, trailer hitch, 11.50 Goodrich TrailGrabbers on aluminum wheels, black truck, black top, no dents, no body rust, no oil smoke.

The Bad: Power door locks not working (not even a click), no instrument lights, rear window keyswitch bad (rear window works with the dash switch okay, though), passenger's window sticks a bit, and the locking knob/rod is gone on that side.

The Ugly: Clearcoat is crumbling to dust in several areas; paint is okay.

Is there any halfway decent fix for old clearcoat, short of a new paint job? How can I tell if the power locks are good or bad? Anybody know how to dis-assemble the doors? Are power door locks on a separate fuse (or what else shares that same fuse)? Any information sources better or cheaper than CarFax? What did I miss? :-) Thanks in advance for any help. Cheers, Red
