I have a 98 K1500 and when i apply the brakes at a very low speed it seems like the abs braking will come on and the brake pedal pulsates but stopping at higher speeds it all seems normal does anybody know what could cause this symtom thanks

Yes, you will need to remove the front wheel speed sensors and clean them and the mounting surfaces on the wheel bearing and hub assembly. Try this first, see if it makes a difference.

Faulty ABS wheel sensor or faulty VSS. Have the ABS module scanned for error codes and see if anything pops up.
