Hey all!
I have a 97 Jimmy and I am having a problem with the cruise control. It will not engage at all-just wont work. I got all the wiring diagrams and diagnostic charts and everything appears to be fine, the test light and meter is showing a good connection and good voltage all around. The diagnostic chart always points towards the cruise module, so I had it replaced. Still no go, so I did all of the testing over again and again, it pointed towards the cruise module. I replaced it once again with a unit from a vehicle which I knew had a working moduled and it still wouldnt engage. Any other ideas of what it would be? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
P.S. Since my last post I have also replaced the brake pedal switch but the problem still persists.
