How's your coolant level in the rad? How is it in the expansion reservoir?

With the engine COLD, remove the rad cap. The level should be right up to the bottom of the cap, and bottom of the cap should be dripping wet. That is how you check the level at the rad.

Where the cap clamps on, you will see a narrow black hose. Follow this hose to the other end. That is the expansion reservoir. If you study the side of the reservoir (rub the dirt off first), you will see MIN and MAX marks. When COLD, the fluid level should be between these marks, preferably towards the upper one.
