Future Audis Will Be Able to Help You Avoid Red Lights

Of course the government would hate for this country to possibly move more efficiently. This would save on gas not to mention the emissions, ozone (what's left of it). What a great concept, but would be interesting to see them in play.

Unless you're some sort of miracle worker like this guy, you probably aren't an expert in timing out lights. But that can soon be solved thanks to the "Audi Online" traffic light information system. Connected to the Internet, it tells you the ideal speed to reach a green light at the next intersection. If that isn't possible?you still can't do 60 in the city?it'll give you a countdown to the next one.

Audi says the technology is fully functional and ready for production, so what's the hold up? Apparently there are a bunch of practical and legal issues to deal with.
