Wow, if you have a *true* 850CSi, sold in the US between 94 and 95, a couple of places to consider are

ebay, and on the various BMW bulletin boards like

I also believe there was at least one person looking for an 850CSi on the E34 5 Series board:

Sometimes. Ferarri calls their yellow "Fly Yellow" which is odd as I've never seen a yellow fly.

Not a problem at all. You simply stay indoors till they're gone.

Deerfly bites really HURT. But blackfly bites are more numerous. Around here nobody is without a bugsuit in late spring for this reason.

Sure, but then you'd miss the best trout fishing of the year. But it sure makes it hard to be stealthy and sneak up on them when you're

I figured out a long time ago where the origin of the phrase "Driving him buggy..." came from. ;-)

The car is a BMW 850csi (M8), it is a 1993/4 model, Vehicle ID No. (Chassis No.) WBSEG91070cc00209 Engine No. K280/5300 Cylinder Capacity. 5576cc

6 Speed Manual Gear box It was a special BMW factory order with regards to paint work, it is Ferrari Giallo (Yellow), not the more common Dakar Yellow, from my research I have only been able to trace 2 other 850csi's in this rare colour. The car was first sold in Germany in 1993/4 and imported to the UK on 23rd October 1997, it was imported by a specialist car company and sold immediately to its first, and to this day only UK customer on the 18th November 1997. The car has travelled 192,000 KHM's approx 122,000 miles, it has full service history and no expense has been spared in maintaining it in 100% perfect original condition. The odometer can be recalibrated to MPH if required. When I say perfect 100% condition, I do not say this lightly, it is in pristine condition, showroom condition. There are No scratches, No dents, No marks what so ever..it is as straight today as it was when it left the BMW factory in Germany. I have never seen an 850csi in this condition, apart from the sales brochure at the time when these cars were being offered. The car drives like new, very tight on steering, braking, and torque....stunning is an under statement. I assume you already know how many were made and where they were shipped?...if not and you require further information pertaining to the history of these cars I would be only to happy to provide you with this information. The car is located in Bristol, UK, I am happy for you to visit to test the car, or have my BMW main dealer confirm to you its condition and history. Indeed, Bristol airport run a direct flight path to New York, I further welcome your agent to confirm this vehicle on your behalf. I am also confident that BMW in Germany will confirm its ID, and how rare the colour is, it is a colour that was never on its production run. I have yet to advertise this car on sites such as eBay, but can advise that I am looking for offers in excess of $45,000 USD. Please let me know if I can be of any further help or assistance.

Sounds like a nice car! Questions: does this car meet US (California) emission and bumper requirements and specifications? Or is it limited to euro specs and can only be sold in Europe (maybe Canada) and other parts of the world.
