Since BMW is selling the 3.0L twin-turbo cars in the us as 335's - it
seems logical that the 5 series will be called a 535i. Can't really
expect the reporter to know BMW's fudging again on the badge designation
(like when they sold the 7 series turbo of the mid 80's as a 745i..)
Well, since the reporter's web site describes her as "the first female race
car driver to ever win a Dutch FIA Championship in The Netherlands", one
would hope she would get it right. Or that she wouldn't report "37.7 mpg"
for the new 530i - obviously using Imperial gallons, but writing for a US
newspaper. And where are the Times' editors? Oh well, at least she didn't
rhapsodize on BMW's V6 engines!
